Legrand’s Plexo switches, sockets and accessories, modular distribution boards, as well as junction and industrial boxes, ensure an efficient and simple installation for cabling and distribution wiring in diverse applications.

Plexo Cross enclosures for Mosaic mechanisms are quick and easy to install and offer a high level of quality in aesthetics and efficient protection, in general indoor and outdoor, domestic and commercial applications. These mechanisms are designed for installation in areas like garages, carports, bathrooms and verandas and are also suited to domestic appliance power supply, particularly in wet environments.

Plexo Cross units have an IP55 protection rating against dust and jets of water from all sides, and an IK07 rating of protection against mechanical impact. They have a rigid, shatter-proof casing that ensures a secure installation on all types of support and are available as a single module up to eight module units, with a silicone sheath.

The Plexo 55 range, which is waterproof, shockproof and dustproof, also has an IP55 rating, which is enhanced by a clip-on entry gland which fully covers the fixing screws of the box. Weatherproof joint seals completely surround the cover to ensure a tight fit to the box and adapters with watertight seals allow compatibility with all electrical accessories.

This range consists of Plexo 55's one-piece units which offer a complete range of functions, including 10 A switches, timelag switches, bell press with neon indicators, emergency stop mushroom head pushbuttons, auxiliary photo switches and photo-electric dawn/dusk switches. There is a back-box system with one, two or three vertical or horizontal gangs (accommodating two or three entries) that allow juxtaposing of Plexo 55's modules and frameworks according to exact requirements. Plexo boxes are also fully compatible with Legrand's Mosaic switches and sockets and functions include the installation of computers, telephone sockets, coded keypads and thermostats.
