The contact unit of this emergency-stop switch supplied by Mimic Components/Crafts automatically detects any mechanical defects in the connection between the contact block and the emergency-stop actuator, for example such as that may have been caused by careless assembly, resulting in the contact block not being snapped on correctly or even not at all. If the contact block and the actuator are separated from each other - for whatever reason - the emergency-stop chain will be interrupted. The machine or plant can only be started up again after troubleshooting.
Two types are available, one with two normally-closed and two safety contacts, and the other type with two normally-closed, one normally-open and one safety contact. Both types are supplied only as complete units consisting of both actuator and contact block.
