High power wire-wound resistors

Royal Ohm has introduced the new KNP series of wire-wound resistors targeted for applications requiring large amounts of power dissipation. The components feature a high alumina content ceramic rod, a special alloy resistance wire for stable performance and an advanced flame proof coating for heat dissipation.

The resistors are available with resistances ranging from 0,1 Ω to 1,5 kΩ, with power ratings between 0,5 W and 9 W, and in tolerances of 1%, 2%, 5% and 10%.

In addition to the standard types, both a non-inductive type and a miniature size variant are available. All Royal Ohm resistors are RoHS compliant.
