Tyco Electronics offers the AMP Micro Mate-n-Lok 3 mm pitch soft-shell connector system. The wire-to-board pin and receptacle system features dual-beam contact design for improved contact and high temperature housings for IR processing. Specific applications of the Micro Mate-n-Lok connector are in household appliances, industrial machinery, commercial equipment and instrumentation include power and signal I/O and power interface interconnections.
They are available in 2-24 positions. Header configurations include vertical and right angle. Vertical headers employ through-hole mounting with options for a kinked leg or solder pad. Both are available with or without a mechanical board lock. Right-angle headers are available with a through-hole board lock, solder pad, plastic through-hole board lock or a mechanical board lock. Surface-mount headers are also available. Header and receptacle housings are constructed of 94V-0 nylon. All header pin and receptacle contacts are brass and are available in tin, or gold plating.
Contacts are rated for 250 V and 5,0 A maximum.
