Fourth generation telecom relays

Switches, Relays & Keypads
Having recently extended its range of polarised two-pole telecom/signal relays, Tyco Electronics now offers one of the broadest and smallest ranges of fourth generation telecom relays in one package.
Benefiting from a profile of 5,65 mm and slim case design of 10 x 6 mm, the Axicom IM relay series now features a highly sensitive version (100 mW coil), an ultra sensitive version (50 mW coil), a highly dielectric version (1,5 kV rms/2,5 kV pulse) and a high current version (5 A). A shielded version is available upon request and all new IM series relays plus the standard version fit on the same pad layout.
Available in four different mounting designs (two through-hole and two surface mount designs) and as latching (with one coil) and non-latching (with one coil) versions, Axicom IM series relays feature a switching current of 2 A/5 A, two changeover contacts (two-form C/DPDT) and gold plated, bifurcated contacts. Further technical details include a high surge capability (1,2/50 μs and 10/700 μs) meeting Telcordia GR 1089, FCC Part 68 and ITU-T K20, 21, 45 requirements and a high mechanical shock resistance (up to 50 G functional and up to 500 G survival).
Key applications for these relays are communications equipment, office and business equipment, measurement and control equipment, consumer electronics (set top boxes and HiFi), automotive as well as medical equipment.
