Compact resistors ideal for power supplies

The CRA2512 and CRA2010 are new models in a series of power resistors from Bourns that are optimised for current sensing in power supply designs. This is due to excellent power and current capability coupled with a very stable TCR in compact standard 2512 and 2010 case sizes. This allows power supply engineers to save space on their board and move away from the traditional through-hole axial leaded shunts and closer to fully automated assembly, while maintaining high power and high current. The CRA2512 and CRA2010 feature power ratings of 3 W and 1,5 W respectively, and both have a temperature coefficient of 75 PPM/°C.
