Chip ferrite bead boasts extremely high impedance

Murata has developed a chip ferrite bead, the BLM03AG102SN1, boasting what it claims is the industry's highest impedance in the 0603(0201 EIA) size, at 0,6 x 0,3 x 0,3 mm (L x W x T). With an impedance of 1000 Ω (at 100 MHz), it joins the existing items in the BLM03A series with impedances of 10, 70 120, 240 and 600 Ω. These chip ferrite beads are ideal for noise filters to suppress EMI or prevent abnormal oscillation in various types of electronic equipment. They have a current rating of 100 mA and an operating temperature range from -55°C to +125°C.
