Spring-cage double connectors for power electronics

Phoenix Contact’s new TSPC 5 and TPC 16 double connectors for power electronics are push-in solutions for power distribution and loop-through connections.

The TSPC 5 double plug connector can handle currents up to 41 A with 10 mm² solid-core conductors. No tools are needed for connecting the conductors - they are simply pushed into the spring cage. The TPC 16 plug connector, featuring a double screw mechanism, is designed for currents up to 76 A and facilitates loop-through connection of multi-axis systems with flexible conductors up to 16 mm². Both double connectors are fitted with a screw flange for locking onto the terminal strip, which makes them suitable for use in environments exposed to vibration. As both of the devices have unrestricted 600 V UL approval, they are suitable for the international market.
