Now available from Apem is an illuminated KR rocker series with eight different colours to choose from: blue, dark blue, black, green, grey, red, orange and yellow.
Two marking processes are used for the KR series: pad printing for non-illuminated versions and laser etching for illuminated versions. The painting and marking process uses a deposit of four paint layers in order to achieve a good rendering. Firstly, white paint is used to enhance the clarity of marking, then black paint to constrain light to the symbol, then white paint to completely separate the finishing layer from the black layer, and lastly the coloured paint as the finishing layer. These switches allow for all symbols to be created and do not use a lens, providing a professional rendering and no removable parts.
