Fluke, a manufacturer of electrical and industrial test tools, is making its 'body of knowledge' available to any registered training facility or educational institution - either privately owned or in the public domain. The facility simply applies to become a partner of the 'Fluke Educational Portal', and once accepted, has free access to Fluke's website's information portal.
Available course material includes: basic electrical measurement; electrical measurement safety; electrical measurements on adjustable-speed drives; harmonics; insulation resistance testing; maintaining and troubleshooting; HVAC/R systems; power quality; process instruments; calibration and maintenance.
As an added incentive, Comtest is also offering additional discounts on all Fluke equipment bought by these educational institutions. Comtest's marketing director, Val Verwer says: "There is a wealth of information available to the technical student and Fluke is very keen to share this information with the various training facilities. We believe that this will positively impact those students coming into our industry."
Any company interested in gaining access to the Educational Portal should contact Val Verwer at Comtest Distribution, +27 (0)11 254 2200, [email protected]
