Camden Electronics has launched a new DIN rail mounting interface module featuring four opto-isolated channels that can be configured independently for AC or DC operation.
The new CIM/OPTO4 interface module can either be DIN rail mounted or wall mounted using a pair of chassis clips. Designed for ease of wiring and maintenance, each module features four independent isolated channels that are configurable in any selection of modes for both inputs and outputs. Each channel has an on-board LED indicator to confirm correct input operation.
A pluggable link is used to select between a wide range of AC or DC voltage inputs. DC range is 24 to 400 V (polarity insensitive) while on AC the range is 24 to 265 V.
Each channel output has floating Darlington transistors rated at 300 V d.c./150 mA, maximum power 150 mW. These are NPN devices and are ideal for pull-down operations (correct polarity to be observed). Input to output isolation is 2 kV d.c.
