PTR Messtechnik has expanded its product range with ATEX-DIN rail terminal blocks for explosive areas. These terminals meet the requirements of DIN EN 50 014 and also the enhanced requirements of DIN EN 50 019 regarding ignition protection type: 'increased safety EEx e'. With PTR's initial product, its SR terminals with screw principle have been ATEX-certified.
Feed-through and earth terminals for mounting rails are also available for explosive areas in wire sizes from 0,2 mm² to 35 mm². Multiconductor terminals are available for wire size up to 4 mm². Additionally, PTR offers its direct-mounting SRMB series as ATEX-version for wire sizes up to 10 mm².
