Hirose's IDC type QR/P18 Series connectors are suited for applications such as communication equipment, automatic vending machines, measurement equipment, industrial equipment, and distribution boards.
The outer housing and contact unit can be divided. The signal unit of the IDC termination system ensures high reliability. Fixed connectors are mounted by one-touch simple operation and floating connectors are mounted by floating screw to panels for easy mating and unmating.
Power contacts of crimping termination are available for AWG #16 to #18 (insulation diameter for 2,1 to 2,2 mm), and current capacity is 12 A max. Number of positions: 4, 12, 16, 18, 22, 24, 28, and terminal pitch is 1,5 mm.
