Mec has extended its illumec range of switches that allows illumination also for surface mount switches to include a 4 A version. The 4 A illumec switch is a new generation of the multimec 3 A switches and can be fitted with the same innovative keycaps and bezels. The keycaps can either be fully illuminated or illuminated by means of lenses in solid colour caps.
The illumec switches are sealed to IP-67, have a minimum mechanical life of 10 million actuations and a ruggedised construction that accepts 100N of force to the actuator. illumec is available in either through hole or surface mount configurations.
With the new bi-colour LED option engineers will have more options to make user friendly and highly integrated front panels.
The innovative switch can be fitted with blue, white, green, yellow, red and bi-colour LEDs.
