Aries Electronics, an international manufacturer of standard, programmed and custom interconnection products, has introduced an RoHS-compliant version of its SOWIC-to-DIP Correct-A-Chip adapter that enables users to easily upgrade to SOWIC without changing their PBC layout. The new adapter is also WEEE-compliant.
This adapter is available on 7,62 mm pitch centres, and its operating temperature is 105°C. Its body is constructed of 1,56 mm FR406 or IS410 per IPC 4101A/24/26/28, with one ounce of copper traces on both sides. Its pins are 360-1/2 hard brass alloy with gold over nickel plating. The suggested PCB hole diameter is 0,71 mm and all tolerances are 0,13 mm.
