Drying cabinet with humidity control

9 August 2006 Enclosures, Racks, Cabinets & Panel Products

Mekko Technologies' AD-06L drying cabinet is the alternative for the drying process of reflow sensitive built products. Six glass doors are fitted to one side and in each chamber there are devices for 10 removable sliding shelves exclusively, at the drying unit.

The drying cabinet's MT-2 (multitasking-function) sensor system for humidity control and temperature measurement ensures tight control (ultra low humidity: 1-5% RH).

Total external dimensions of the AD-06L are 1950 x 1400 x 1150 mm (H x W x D), it weighs 250 kg and has a total volume available for storage of 3000 litres. The system uses an 'active desiccant' that ensures continuous operation.

Power consumption is 150 W ave, 1 kW max (220 V a.c., 50/60 Hz). This cabinet is also available in other sizes: AD-01 (1 door) 250 litre; AD-02 (2-door) 450 litre; AD-03 (3-door) 750 litre; AD-04 (4-door) 1000 litre; AD-06 (6-door) 1300 litre.

It fulfils IPC-JEDEC, J-STD-033A/020C standards.
