9 August 2006 Switches, Relays & Keypads AI & Data Analytics

Technological Rubber has introduced 'gold conductive pills' into its range of silicone rubber keypads. This gives a more precise resistive value - typically 0,01 Ω - so that the design engineers' circuits can be evenly balanced, says the company.

The range is circular in shape, from 2,5-8 mm diameter, and plating is offered in two thicknesses: 0,15 to 0,6 μm. Operating temperature range is 30 to 80°C.
