Unique screwless 36-way terminal block bundles

28 June 2006 Interconnection

UL and VDE approved screwless terminal blocks from Camden Electronics can now be supplied boxed in 36-way bundles complete with 10 end plates enabling users to create banks of terminals to meet their custom requirements.

Offering maximum convenience, Camden's CSTBV series boxed bundle is available in 5 and 5,08 mm pitch versions and users can simply divide the 36-way stacks into desired lengths, adding end-plates where required. For volume orders, Camden also offers a full customisation service, pre-assembling blocks to individual requirements from single-pole units, spacers and end-plates.

Moulded in grey UL94V0 flame retardant PA66, the CSTBV terminal blocks feature guided pin alignment, anti-solder wicking and stainless steel springs. Specifications include 0,3 to 1,5 mm² cable entry, rating of 12 A/250 V, dielectric strength =>2,5 kV/60 s, insulation resistance 5 MΩ and working temperature from -20 to 125°C (160°C for short periods). The pin/terminal is 5 μm tinned phosphor bronze.
