Stainless steel switch products are rugged

Switches, Relays & Keypads
EAO, a specialist in human machine interfaces, has addressed the ergonomic risks associated with harsh industrial and externally-located applications with its range of robust and extremely reliable stainless steel switches, keypads and keyboards.
EAO's stainless steel products offer protection of up to IP67 against water, heat, shock and vibration, and protection against vandalism. These are durable products that require minimal maintenance and therefore deliver long term value in terms of lifecycle cost benefits. The stainless steel products may also be illuminated to cater for poor lighting conditions. Additional design options include laser engraving with specific symbols and legends that will not wear off or corrode.
EAO's stylish Series 04 and 14 ranges offer pushbuttons, indicators and selector switches with stainless steel lenses, protective front rings and bezels, for operating in very wet or dusty conditions. For additional protection against vandalism, harsh treatments and cleaning, both ranges can be flush-mounted. Options include self-cleaning, snap-action switching elements with gold-plated silver contacts, or for particularly-aggressive environments, certain switches may be specified with silver/palladium contacts. These products are suited for machinery control panels that must resist impact, air pollution and chemical washing.
EAO's W.series keyboards and keypads are extremely tough, without sacrificing the smooth key action of normal PC keyboards. Featuring non-flammable keys that cannot be pulled off, they are protected against the ingress of dust and water making them suitable for outdoor use. Customer-specific layouts may be created on request.
