With a footprint of only 1,4 x 1,1 mm, the new B9408 and B9411 RX filters designed for UMTS handsets mark another milestone in miniaturisation achievement by Epcos.
Versions with impedances of 100 and 200 Ω are available to match the chipset used. Typical insertion loss in the passband (2,11 to 2,17 GHz) is 1,6 dB. Error vector magnitude, a critical parameter in UMTS systems, is less than 2%. Attenuation in the TX path (1,92 to 1,98 GHz) is 48 dB. Attenuation is at least 31 dB in the range from 2,5 to 6,0 GHz.
