Ceibo's new FE-C450 development system emulates Dallas Semiconductor's DS89C450, which it says is the world's fastest 8051 drop-in. The device operates at one clock per machine cycle core and offers 64 KB of in-application programmable flash memory.
The DS89C450 operates at 33 MIPS at 33 MHz with one clock/machine cycle core. The Ceibo FE-C450 emulator runs at 33 MHz. The latest software update for this allows USB connection to the computer and provides improved breakpoint performance.
Key features include: 62 K code memory; realtime emulation; frequency up to fMAX at 5 V; Windows debugger for C/C++ and Assembler; 44-PLCC emulation header; target board and programmer is included; RS232 or USB interface; 64 K C/ASM and 8 K C++ is included.
