Developed in multilayer metal film technology, the Phoenix Passive Components' HVR series was designed for application in circuits that demand high resistive values (MΩ), stability and reliability when submitted to high working voltages. The high pulse loading capability provided in its small size makes the HVR resistor suitable for use in TV and monitor circuits, ballasts and switch mode power supplies.
The mechanical, electrical and climatic protection is provided by its non-flammable blue lacquer coating, which is also resistant to all cleaning solvents, according to international standards.
These RoHS compliant high voltage resistors are available in HVR25, HVR37 and HVR68 versions, with powers of 0,25 W, 0,5 W and 1 W and resistive ranges of 100 kΩ to 22 MΩ, 100 kΩ to 33 MΩ and 100 kΩ to 10 MΩ respectively, all with a tolerance of 5%. 1% versions are also available.
