Papst's turbo drive motor technology opens up completely new performance perspectives in cooling fans.
The motor technology of the Papst turbofan makes it possible to double the air flow performance and pressure build-up of a small fan, claims the company. The speed depends on the required cooling and can be controlled individually by defined parameters. The three-phase electronically commutated (EC) motor enables a speed range of 800 to 6000 rpm to be accurately controlled, extending the power range from 100 to 700 m3/h.
The direction of rotation can also be selected. Drive and control electronics are compactly accommodated in the fan rotor.
