The rear fixing of control and switching elements if often difficult or even impossible in hollow sections, eg frames of doors or in inaccessible housings. A new series of switches with an ingenious fitting method - a 'snap-in assembly technique' - has been developed by TH Contact for such demands.
The switch is inserted from the front through the mounting hole and clicked into place. Also with IP65 protection, the actuator is locked by a mechanical end stop to protect the contact element. This prolongs the service life of the switch while simultaneously affording protection from unauthorised interference. Versions with conventional nut fixing can also be supplied.
The new 'th-clic' switches are attractively designed, flat at the front and are available in stainless steel or anodised aluminium, with a range of seven colours for variations and combinations. The short mounting depth of only 24 mm ensures versatility in application of these switches, even in flat frames and housings.
