Comtest appoints value-added reseller

19 October 2005 News

Comtest has appointed Brittan Healthcare as a value-added reseller for the Fluke range of industrial and electrical test products. For many years, Brittan Healthcare has been the sole southern African agent for the Fluke Biomedical range of test and simulation products, while at the beginning of this year, Comtest was appointed the sole authorised distributor for Fluke industrial and electrical test tools in southern Africa.

Brittan Healthcare is a medical device manufacturer both in the electro-medical and consumable markets and supplies and services equipment for both the private and provincial sectors of the healthcare industry. The Fluke Biomedical range that it distributes includes electrical safety analysers, patient simulators, ventilator testers, and equipment management software for hospitals, independent service organisations and manufacturers of medical equipment.

John Buyers, manager of Brittan Healthcare, says "We are excited about the prospect of combining our existing range of medical devices with Fluke's range of industrial and electrical products in order to offer our customers an expanded range of high quality products for the future."
