Yokogawa is now offering the 16-bit high-speed logic input capability, as standard, on its DL7400 Series of high-performance digital storage oscilloscopes. The new 'high speed logic' feature, allows the DL7400 to measure and display eight 500 MHz analog channels and 16 logic input signals simultaneously, at a maximum toggle frequency of 250 MHz.
When combined with the instrument's long memory - 8 Mword per channel on all channels or 16 Mword with 2 Gsps sampling rate when interleave is turned on - the ability to capture and display analog and logic inputs side by side makes the DL7400 an ideal multichannel analysis tool.
Applications include, automotive monitoring, power analysis as well as signal integrity measurements where it is necessary to observe the analog content of digital waveforms.
The DL7400 Series incorporates a wide choice of data analysis and search functions, including history search, cycle statistics, pulse count and serial pattern search. Powerful trigger capabilities and user-defined mathematics add to the instruments' versatility. The instrument includes a PC card slot and USB interfaces as standard, SCSI and Ethernet interfaces are optional. PC-based software is available for remote control and data analysis, and the instrument can be configured as a webserver for file transfer, e-mail, data capture and trend analysis.
