JTAG emulator for TI DSPs

6 April 2005 DSP, Micros & Memory

The Blackhawk PCI JTAG Emulator is a high-performance PCI-based JTAG Emulator for Texas Instruments' TMS320, TMS470 (ARM) and OMAP families. The half-length PCI card features a variable TCK (timing clock) up to 35 MHz and includes a detachable, 168 cm long multivoltage cable with pod assembly. Drivers are provided for Windows 2000 and XP.

Using an advanced version of emulation drivers and the advanced feature set of TI high-speed DSP architecture allows the PCI510 JTAG emulator to be up to eight times faster than other XDS510 compatible JTAG emulators.

Software compatibility with all versions of Code Composer and Code Composer Studio including v2.2 and above, and a driver independent DLL developed by Blackhawk, assures existing and future device compatibility for legacy or new DSPs right out of the box with no upgrades required.

The Blackhawk PCI JTAG Emulator supports TMS320, TMS470 (ARM) and OMAP families. Legacy support for Code Composer v4.1x and CCStudio v1.2 gives users access and compatibility to VC33, C20x and C24x. The PCI JTAG Emulator is also compatible with Code Composer Studio Flash-burner utility.
