Metcal's BVX-100 fume extraction system is a portable, single-user system claimed to have the power of a larger, multi-user system.
Compared with larger, multi-user fume extraction systems the BVX-100 requires no installation, offers flexible operation, has a space-saving footprint and matches the air flow of larger multi-user systems. It features quiet operation and a bi-coloured LED light to indicate blocked filters.
The user simply sets the 300 mm-wide plenum on the bench and turns it on for instant fume extraction. Harmful and irritating fumes, particles and vapours are immediately removed from the operator's breathing area. To move the fume collection device to the source of the fumes, it has an innovative adapter that transforms the plenum into an arm extraction system.
