Aaeon has brought out an innovative all-in-one liquid crystal display personal computer. The LCD PC-Onyx 158S consists of a computer and a flat-panel monitor and offers unique system flexibility. Supporting both socket 370 Intel Pentium III or Celeron processor up to 1 GHz with 133 MHz FSB, it also provides a substantial variety of ports for connecting peripheral devices, such as dual USBs, expandable memory support and one free expansion slot. Integrated with a 15" XGA colour bright, long-lifetime TFT LCD display; 10/100Base-T Ethernet connectivity, it also supports sound through speakers and amplifiers that are built into the monitor.
Onyx 158S is hardy and robust, claims Aaeon, with heavy-duty steel chassis and aluminium front bezel. At the back is VESA 75 mm standard where one can install a sturdy aluminium desk stand or swivel arm (optional) for any working environment. A built-in CD-ROM, in addition to the optional choice of internal DVD-ROM/CD-RW combo drive, offers all-in-one convenience. In addition, two USB ports allow fast transfer of large files, and easy link-up to popular peripheral devices.
Onyx-158S comes with UL 60950 safety certifications, and has earned CE and FCC class B approval for EMC.
