Citel's M80 Series is a compact, low profile AC surge protector designed for light commercial and light industrial applications. The SPD provides 80 000 A of surge handling capacity and incorporates a noise attenuating filter. Whether transients originate from internal motor operation or external anomalies, the M80 Series is designed to provide the necessary level of protection for sensitive microprocessor-based equipment.

The SPD's NEMA 3R enclosure also makes it suitable for harsh indoor environments. Applications are: service entrance at remote sites; computer rooms; lighting panels; variable speed drives (VSD); CNC machines.
