The SMA push-on adapter is a convenient tool in a laboratory environment where quick testing on SMA receptacles needs to be performed. Instead of the usual screw-on type operation, this adapter from Hirose is simply pushed on. Without deterioration of the electrical or mechanical characteristics it can be used more than 1000 times, and guarantees a VSWR of 1,2 for up to 18 GHz.
The other side of the adapter is designed to attach an SMA test cable or other testing unit in such a way that it helps to protect valuable equipment from wearing out.
