Advanced telephone interface solution

19 November 2003 Electronics Technology Information Security

Subscriber Line Interface Circuits (SLICs) are well proven products. The packaging and the features of standard components have not changed greatly, but the applications have - from PABX and central office to personal computer platforms, to wireless and digital local loop infrastructure.

Silver Telecom took a new look at the needs of the market and came up with a new concept: the MULTI-SLIC. The first truly multichannel electronic telephone line interfaces, the MULTI-SLIC uses the best of communications, personal computer and semiconductor technology in one package to provide a flexible and effective solution for the user.

Through its new packaging the MULTI-SLIC provides for both customised, in line system configuration and the need to provide fast and efficient field servicing.
