Ultralife Batteries' thin cell lithium batteries are wafer-thin - as thin as 2,0 mm - providing a unique combination of high energy, long shelf life, wide operating temperature range and light weight. With their ultra-thin prismatic form and a high ratio of active materials to packaging, the manufacturer says that Thin Cell batteries can efficiently fill virtually any battery cavity.
Typical low discharge rate applications employing Ultralife Thin Cell batteries include: 'smart' security cards, flat-profile wireless asset tracking tags, bank theft tracking systems, electronic record tracking systems and any application needing a thin, lightweight, high-energy power source. Thin cells are also available in a HiRate construction for applications requiring higher rates of discharge.
For example, the 3 V model U10004 weighs 15 g, measures 44,5 x 54,6 x 5 mm and has capacity 1,5 A.hr @ 50 mA to 2,0 V @ 23°C. Similarly: The 6 V U6VF-K-T-2 is: 16,4 g; 75,4 x 48,2 x 5,3 mm; and 1A.hr @500 Ω to 3,0 V @ 23°C. The 3 V U3VF-K-T is: 8,2 g; 75,4 x 48,2 x 2,2 mm; and 1A.hr @ 500 Ω to 1,5 V @ 23°C. The 3 V U3VF-L-T is: 2,3 g; 32,2 x 40,4 x 2,2 mm; and 220 mA.hr @ 500 Ω to 1,5 V @ 23°C.
