The MAX5023/MAX5024 high-voltage linear regulators from Maxim are rated for operation over the 6,5 to 65 V input voltage range. Both devices can output up to 150 mA and draw less than 60 µA quiescent current at no load. They include reverse-battery protection and can withstand -60 V at the input. The devices include an active-low microprocessor reset circuit that asserts when the regulator output drops below the preset output-voltage threshold. This provides an early warning to the system in the event of impending power failure. They are designed specifically to meet requirements of automotive, telecom, industrial, home security, and fire/smoke alarm applications.
