The events will also have participation from Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Spain, Switzerland and USA, making up 25 countries altogether. In 2011, the shows drew over 10 000 visitors and the organisers are expecting even more this year.
Major players exhibiting this year include Agilent Technologies, ASYS Group, Bergen Systems, Infineon, Juki India, Kaynes Technology, Leaptech Corporation, Maxim SMT Technologies, NMTronics, NXP Semiconductiors, Panasonic Industrial Device, RS Components & Controls, Renesas Electronics, Rohde & Schwarz India, STMicroelectronics and TATA Power SED, to name a few.
Attractions this year include special exhibit areas such as the PCB Pavillion and a soldering competition and training programme conducted by IPC, which will focus on quality assurance initiatives.
The exhibitions will be accompanied by the technical conference SMALED, as well as a symposium on Failure Analysis and Reliability of Electronics Assemblies (FARE). The latter offers a focus on failure inspection methodologies and electronics reliability topics.
