Telit to distribute directly in Gauteng

1 September 2010 News

Telit Wireless Solutions has announced that it will in future be distributing directly in Gauteng. All Telit products will be available from the South African office in Johannesburg, with Brabek the distributor of choice in the Western Cape.

“We are excited to be distributing directly in Gauteng as this will allow for direct relationships with our clients and also enable us to better assess their needs and reduce lead times,” explains Pieter Lentz, Telit, regional sales director for sub-Sahara Africa, Australia and New Zealand. “Furthermore, we have a local technical support team, which will enable customers to speak to someone locally and receive immediate assistance with their queries.”

Telit, who was distributing through RF Design since 2005, is looking to appoint distributors in other key regions such as KwaZulu-Natal. “Part of Telit South Africa’s new strategy is to appoint local distribution partners so that customers can be assured of personal attention in their region as well as speedy and efficient service,” concludes Lentz.
