Meissner wins Nedbank maintenance contract

17 February 2010 News

UPS and generator supplier, Meissner, has been awarded the UPS maintenance contract to service 442 Nedbank sites countrywide. These sites include Investment Banking; Branches; In-retailers as well as Campus sites which are Nedbank’s main data centres. In addition, Meissner has also been awarded the maintenance contract to look after Nedbank’s 200 ATM sites.

Meissner was responsible for the initial supply and installation of all of the UPSs at Nedbank sites across the country. As part of the contract, Meissner’s service team will visit each site twice a year. During these routine preventative maintenance visits they will perform a series of tests and evaluations to ensure that the UPS has a clean bill of health and thus providing Nedbank with a set of guarantees and peace-of-mind. Service protocols have been set up that include security checks as well as reporting channels.
