Comprehensive soldering seminars in October
3 September 2008
News
Building on the success of its earlier seminar programmes, SMART Group SA, supported by Dataweek, has put together another event bringing in more top quality speakers from Europe.
The event is entitled ‘The A to Z of Soldering’ and covers all areas of soldering technology, from adhesives and bar solder to tin whiskers and unclean assemblies, through printing, reflow, selective soldering and wave soldering.
Alan Hobby, global applied process engineer for DEK and Richard Boyle, European technical manager for Henkel Electronics Materials are two of the strong line-up of eight speakers.
In addition to the seminar, a new feature will see a panel of world class experts reviewing images of solder related problems and comment on their causes and solutions, providing valuable insight to anyone who is in any way involved with the process.
The events take place on 13 October in Cape Town, 14 and 15 October in Midrand and 16 October in Durban.
