Valor expands SA business

25 January 2006 News

Valor Computerized Systems, a leader in productivity-enhancing solutions for the electronics industry, has announced the appointment of South African-based Zetech as its representative. The agreement extends Valor's global coverage and support capabilities, and allows the South African electronics industry to benefit from its best-in-class solutions and enjoy improved accessibility and response time.

Founded in 1986, Zetech supplies manufacturing equipment, software, materials and technical support to the electronics industry. Its customers include major electronic manufacturers in South Africa. Under the terms of the agreement, Zetech will resell and distribute Valor's solutions, and will also provide implementation, support and training services for electronics companies in the South African region.

"Companies across the world are faced with the need to confront constant change and increasing complexity and competition, and the South African region does not escape unharmed," said Zalman Orlianski, Zetech managing director. "Valor's experience and expertise will help our customers confront these challenges and increase their efficiency, productivity and quality."

"Zetech's strength lies in its expertise, market exposure, access to international technology resources and hard-earned reputation in the industry," said David Bengal, president of Valor Europe. "This makes Zetech a perfect partner for Valor, and allows us to enhance our support capabilities and offer our customers better coverage and reduced response time. I am looking forward to many years of successful and fruitful cooperation with Zetech," he concluded.
