A new company - Agile Integration - has been founded to address the measurement and automation market by combining the resources of two companies: ADtest of Cape Town and Prompt Technologies of Johannesburg.
Agile Integration says it offers total solutions in PC-based test and measurement, industrial automation and vision and motion products, and systems. The company operates out of offices in both Johannesburg and Cape Town, and can offer technical and product support countrywide.
Agile Integration offers a comprehensive range of products and represents:
* ADLink: data acquisition, industrial automation, serial communications and embedded computer products. ADLink, being part of the PXI system alliance, also offers a range of PXI chassis and PXI Pentium system controllers for measurement and instrumentation.
* Gage: supplies what it says are the world's fastest analog input cards/oscilloscope cards (up to 5 GSa/s A/D card for PCI bus). These cards and the GageScope software, based on the traditional Tektronix oscilloscopes, can enable one's computer to acquire data at a very high sample rate or to be used as a very powerful oscilloscope.
* Euresys: supplies vision systems and PC-based frame grabber cards and software. It offers a full range of line scan, analog, and digital PC-based interface cards, and high quality cameras. The company's eVision software offers a unique suite of software tools for image analysis for industrial machine vision.
* Ines: automation specialists and product suppliers of: GPIB (IEEE-488) cards for PCI and PCMCIA bus; rugged DAQ-PCMCIA and DMM-PCMCIA cards and a comprehensive range of PXI Instrumentation and products.
