Offering high reliability and excellent value, the TIM 2 and TIM 3.5 series are manufactured by Traco Power and feature 2 W and 3,5 W DC-DC converters, respectively. Importantly for medical applications, the converters provide reinforced isolation of up to 5000 V a.c. (RMS). Also, offering a low leakage current of less than 2 A, the converters are suited to use in insulating electrical equipment within the BF classification for patient applied parts. Available in compact DIP-16 or SMD-16 packages, a wide range of series models are available with output voltages of 3,3, 5,0, 9,0, 12, 15, 24, ±12 and ±15 V. Devices in the series offer input voltage ranges of 4,5-12 V, 9,0-18 V, 18-36 V and 36-75 V.
