AC compact axial fan kits

31 January 2017 Circuit & System Protection

RS Components has extended its portfolio of reliable and cost-effective HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), fans and thermal management equipment with the introduction of a new range of high-performance AC compact axial fan kits from ebm-papst, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high-efficiency fan and motor products.

The fan kits have been designed to simplify the buying process, and provide a quick and efficient way to address ventilation requirements. They offer a choice of AC axial diameters and housings, supplied with the primary accessories to enable engineers to get products operational rapidly. These kits will be particularly suitable for compact applications in the IT, telecommunication and control cabinet cooling fields.

The range consists of 20 new additions with a wide variety of specifications, including a 24 V a.c. input voltage model with airflow of 158 cubic metres per hour; two 115 V a.c. models offering a choice of 135 or 330 m³/h airflow; and multiple 230 V a.c. models with airflow options of 45, 59, 146, 160 and 420 m³/h. All the fan kits consist of an AC axial fan along with the power lead as standard, and either a wire finger guard or an air filter to suit.
