ConTech announced the QMZ range of DC-DC converters, offering up to 25 Watts of fully regulated output power. The series offers a 4:1 input range with nominal input voltages of 24 V and 48 V. Single outputs offered are 3,3 V, 5 V, 12 V and 15 V; dual outputs are ±12 V and ±15 V.
Featuring a footprint for the 2,54 x 2,54 cm package the same as that of an industry standard 2,54 x 5,08 cm, the QMZ series operates with efficiencies as high as 90%. Features include remote on/off, output trim and short circuit protection.
The units have an operating ambient temperature range of -40°C to +80°C with no de-rating, and an optional heatsink is available that will increase the temperature limit to 90°C. The unit is encapsulated with a thermally conductive potting compound in a six-sided metal case for improved thermal performance in still air environments. The QMZ series is RoHS compliant.
