The OX-305 is the latest addition to Vectron’s precision OCXO (oven controlled crystal oscillator) low-noise oscillator family. With a 20 x 20 x 13 mm footprint, this OCXO offers a 44% reduction in volume versus the OX-205 and achieves an impressive phase noise floor at -178 dBc/Hz.
Designed for applications that demand extremely low-noise sources, the OX-305 reduces frequency multiplication and maintains exceptional phase noise performance in a small footprint. Requiring a 12 V supply, the part outputs a sine wave and has temperature stability of ±100 ppb at -20°C to +70°C and ±200 ppb at -40°C to +85°C.
Applications include military radar, instrumentation and test equipment, military communications equipment, DRO and synthesiser references, and satellite communications.
