New from ConTech, the PK4 series of AC-DC switching power supplies offers 4 Watts of output power in a 36,6 x 27 x 17 mm encapsulated case, making it well suited for compact PCB applications. The devices operate from a standard 85 to 264 V a.c. input, at 47 to 440 Hz. Single-output models cover 3,3 V, 5 V, 9 V, 12 V, 15 V and 24 V, while dual-output models are +5/+3 V, +12/+5 V, ±12 V and ±15 V.
Protective features used in this series are output over-voltage protection and short circuit protection. The units are encapsulated with a thermally conductive potting compound in a plastic resin and fibreglass case that meets UL94V-0. The PK4 series is rated for 3000 V a.c. isolation and is RoHS compliant.
