To meet the market demands of highly reliable medical power supplies, Mean Well developed the GSM120B series of high-performance, 120 W desktop type medical adaptors. The entire series is certified to the third edition of the IEC60601-1 medical regulation and the design follows 2xMOPP (Means of Patient Protection).
With leakage current less than 100 μA, efficiency up to 91,5% and no-load power consumption less than 0,15 W, GSM120B is well suited to medical devices in contact with patients. It complies with the latest global energy-saving regulations.
The power supplies operate across the entire 80 – 264 V a.c. input range and supply DC output voltages of 12 V, 15 V, 20 V, 24 V and 48 V. They are class II units (no FG) with a UL 94V-0 level flame retardant plastic case that is able to effectively prevent the shock hazard. Other functions include an LED indicator for power on, short circuit protection, overload protection, over-voltage protection and over-temperature protection.
