For consumer goods such as mobile water depth measurement systems, diving computers, adventure or multi-mode watches and dataloggers, the MS5837-30BA is a high-resolution pressure sensor with I²C bus interface for depth measurement systems with a water depth resolution of 2 mm.
Made by Measurement Specialties, the sensor module includes a high-linearity pressure sensor and an ultra-low-power, 24-bit delta-sigma analog to digital converter with internal, factory calibrated coefficients. It provides a precise digital 24-bit pressure and temperature value and different operating modes that allow the user to optimise for conversion speed and current consumption. A high-resolution temperature output allows integration of thermometer functionality without an additional sensor.
The device can interface to virtually any microcontroller over a simple communication protocol, without the need to program internal registers in the sensor. It is water resistant thanks to gel protection and an antimagnetic stainless steel cap.

Traditionally, EPR spectroscopy requires massive electromagnets that can weigh over a ton, and therefore are often located in basements. Bridge12, located near Boston in the USA, has launched a next-generation EPR spectrometer that is about half the cost of current instruments and a tenth of the size and weight.
