Catering to the medical electrical device market’s demand for highly reliable power supplies, Mean Well has introduced the GSM90B series of 90 W desktop type medical adaptors.
The series is certified to global medical power supply regulations and, with leakage current less than 100 A, efficiency up to 91% and no-load power consumption less than 0,15 W, it is well suited for use in medical devices in contact with patients.
The units operate over the 80 to 264 V a.c. input range and offer output voltages of 12 V, 15 V, 19 V, 24 V or 48 V. They are designated Class II (no FG) and their enclosure is a UL 94V-0 flame retardant plastic case that is able to prevent shock. Other functions include an LED indicator for power on, short circuit protection, overload protection, over-voltage protection and over-temperature protection.
