New from Micrel is the MIC826 voltage supervisor with ±0,5% accuracy, manual reset input, watchdog timer and dual outputs in a 1,6 x 1,6 mm thin DFN package. It offers eight reset threshold options and is intended to monitor 1,8 V to 5 V power supplies. The device features ±0,5% voltage threshold accuracy at room temperature and ±1,5% over the -40°C to +125°C temperature range. The solution consumes just 3,8 μA of supply current for power supplies; lower than 3,6 V and 4,8 μA for solutions operating from a 5 V power supply. The IC also features an industry standard reset timeout period of 140 ms (minimum) and a watchdog time output period of 1,6 s, as well as dual, active-high push-pull and active-low push-pull reset outputs.
