Tri-axis accelerometer

The KXCJ9 is a low-power, low-noise 3-axis accelerometer with I²C interface, made by Kionix. Featuring a new MEMS sensing element for excellent performance over temperature, in shock test and in reflow, it is pin and register compatible with Kionix’s KXTF9 and KXTI9 models.

User-selectable parameters include ±2 G, 4 G or 8 G ranges and Output Data Rates (ODR) with programmable low-pass filter. The KXCJ9 is also capable of producing accelerometer outputs with up to 14-bit resolution for greater precision. It is packaged in a 10-pin, 3 x 3 x 0,9 mm LGA plastic package.

The device features current consumption of <1 μA in standby, 10 μA at normal resolution and 135 μA at high resolution. Its user-configurable, embedded wakeup function lets customers conserve battery power. An internal voltage regulator maintains constant internal operating voltages throughout the 1,8–3,6 V input supply range.
